Jack Antonoff von Belachers über das neue Album everyone for ten minutes

Es sind zwei Jahre vergangen, seit er zuletzt hier bei egoFM zu Gast war. Grammy-Produzent und Mastermind seiner Band Bleachers: Jack Antonoff. Inzwischen stehen ein paar weitere Grammys auf seinem Regal, es wurden noch mehr Pop-Hits geschrieben und produziert, zusammen mit Künstlerinnen wie Sabrina Carpenter, Lana Del Rey und Taylor Swift und: Ein neues Bleachers-Album ist da! Im Interview mit egoFM Gloria spricht Jack Antonoff über everyone for ten minutes und die kommende Tour in Europa und Deutschland. Auf dem Album taucht Jack in seine eigene Vergangenheit ein und nimmt uns in Songs wie "the van" etwa mit an seine Anfänge als tourender Musiker und wie das Leben im Bandbus ihn geprägt hat:

Aber auch kürzliche Ereignisse in Jacks Leben werden zu kleinen Geschichten in Songform – etwa die Hochzeit mit seiner Partnerin, Schauspielerin Margaret Qualley. Wegen der prominenten Gästeliste versuchten Paparazzi, Fotos der Hochzeitsgesellschaft zu ergattern, wie Jack sich in "Dirty Wedding Dress" erinnert: "So we got married that August. And the neighbors all lost their minds. We had to board up all the windows and shoot out the drones […] Now only my people can see me." Bleachers kommen im Winter auf Europa-Tour und spielen ein paar Shows, in Deutschland. Vorfreude?
